I play bass guitar, keyboards and springy ashtray for Psapp (aka Galia Durant and Carim Clasmann), a "slightly wrong" alternative act signed to Domino Records.

Besides releasing two excellent albums, ("Tiger, My Friend" and "The Only Thing I Ever Wanted"), Psapp are also known for (allegedly) inventing "Toytronica" and also for providing the BMI award-winning theme music to US television's "Grey's Anatomy" (which they emphatically deny and totally refuse to talk about).

Partially to blame for Psapp's "ridiculous" live shows, I have modestly delivered many virtuoso performances as the world's leading exponent of the springy ashtray "Jitter Technique", and plan to enhance my already extraordinary bass-whispering act with 22 figurines welded to a cardboard trouser-press.

Psapp have played more than 80 live shows around the world. We have played in many countries including England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, Sweden, Spain, Austria, Poland, Turkey, Slovakia and we have toured the USA and Canada with José González and Juana Molina.

Psapp have played with artists as diverse as Plaid, Deerhoof and Razorlight. You can find dodgy films of the live shows, which have been appearing and disappearing on YouTube for at least a year.
