When US rock band Elyzium contacted me at MySpace to try and remix one of their tracks for a contest, I thought I might as well have a stab at it. I didn't have any proper work at the time and liked the song, so I was willing to give it a try. I'm just trying to remix as much as I can at the moment.

There was no prize, so to speak, just the chance of a one-off licensing deal and the benefits of increased MySpace exposure. But, I didn't expect to win the feckin' thing!

The Hit By A Rock remix of "Lost" was among the four winners of the contest. The instrumental version was picked up by many Dubstep DJs, and has been played regularly by top european Dubstep dj Bunzer0 on his SubFM radio show. The remix has also recently been licensed by Riptide Music in the US.
