Nephesch: Hit By A Rock

Cover (front)

"Nephesch" is one of my favourites. Fractious sheep-dipped drums, giant zips and string sections speaking in tongues, all within a very small glass booth inside an oil-tanker.

To me, the melody sounds vaguely Jewish or Hungarian. Emanatin' from tha East-side, innit!

This is quite an old tune. The song was originally written using a demo of Reason. When the demo expired (I'd decided to not buy the software), I had to painstakingly re-transcribe it all into Logic. A pain in my skinny white, but worth it.
