In The Pines: Susheela Raman

I'm very pleased to have finished "In The Pines", my second remix for Susheela Raman. After the success of my first remix, "Love Lies", I was really happy to be asked to do a second one!

The song is a cover-version of the dark lament first recorded by Leadbelly, "Where Did You Sleep Last Night?" Again, the original version of the song appears on her new album: "33 1/3".

I'm hoping I've done justice to Susheela's interpretation. She puts an emotional, almost disturbing performance into the song. Oo-er!

Susheela has been very supportive of this remix, and we are hoping to see it released and available very soon:
